Orthopedic surgery

We Are Experts in Orthopedic Surgery

Utah’s Orthopedic Surgeons

For Athletes

Surgery can help your painful injuries heal correctly and ensure you can continue to function optimally and perform as well as you do, long after the injury has healed.

For Families

Surgeries are not one-size-fits-all. We know that conditions need to be accurately diagnosed and meticulously treated to avoid complex issues as we age.

For Older Adults

Our health becomes increasingly important and complicated as we age, so we keep our senior care plans simple and thorough, providing the best possible outcome.

At Rocky Mountain, we are highly trained surgeons who understand optimal performance and the complexity of orthopedic conditions.

Hip/Knee Arthritis

Hip and knee arthritis causes joint pain, stiffness, and reduced mobility due to cartilage breakdown. Treatments include physical therapy, weight management, anti-inflammatory medications, corticosteroid or hyaluronic injections, and, in advanced cases, joint replacement surgery to relieve pain and restore function.

Rotator Cuff

Rotator cuff pain is often caused by tendon inflammation or tears, leading to shoulder pain and limited motion. Treatment may include rest, physical therapy, anti-inflammatory medications, corticosteroid injections, and, in severe cases, surgical repair to restore function.

Sport Injuries

Treatment for sport injuries depends upon the type and severity of the injury. Immobilization can allow some injuries to heal, but others may require surgery to repair.

Shoulder Pain

Hammertoe treatment largely depends on the severity of your hammertoe. If your hammertoe has become more rigid, foot surgery will likely be recommended to relieve the pain and discomfort you are experiencing.

Knee Conditions

Knee conditions like arthritis, ligament injuries, and meniscus tears cause pain, swelling, and restricted movement. Treatment options include rest, physical therapy, bracing, anti-inflammatory medications, corticosteroid or hyaluronic injections, and, for severe cases, surgical intervention to restore function.

Total Joint Surgery

Total joint surgery involves replacing a damaged joint, typically the hip, knee, or shoulder, with an artificial implant. This procedure relieves pain, restores mobility, and improves quality of life for patients with severe arthritis or joint damage unresponsive to other treatments.
